Our website uses Cookies, as all websites do.
In this Cookie Policy we explain the process involved always within the framework of the legal regulations of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), as well as of the relevant local and EU legislation.

We try to do it in an easy way to understand avoiding as much as possible complicated terms. This way you can make an informed decision on allowing and/or managing cookies.

What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser by websites that you visit. They are designed to facilitate the function of a website by allowing the website to “keep track” of a user’s actions during his/her navigation to the page, prompting an easier and in some cases tailored next visit (e.g. by remembering the user’s language choice).

Even though most of the browsers (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Opera) support the use of Cookies, each user can adjust the Cookies preferences to withdraw his/her consent or delete the Cookies already used.
You can find more information at and

What type of Cookies do we use and why?

On we use:

  • Strictly Necessary/ Technical cookies: Necessary to allow us to operate our website so you may access content and pages as you have requested. They also secure our website.
  • Functionality cookies: They let us operate our website in accordance with the choices you make. They permit us to “remember” you in-between visits for instance by remembering your language of choice. Such cookies also enable our pop-ups regarding age verification and cookies policy (storing only the preferences “confirmed” and “accepted” respectively).
  • Analytical / Performance cookies: Used to analyze how our website is used and how it is performing. For example, these cookies track the most popular pages on, and from what locations our visitors come from. On our website we use Google Analytics cookies, but we do not create “users files”, therefore we do not identify our users.

On our website we do not use Advertising cookies.

How do I refuse or withdraw my consent to the use of Cookies?

If you do not want Cookies to be dropped on your device, you can adjust the setting of your Internet browser to reject the setting of all or some Cookies and to alert you when a Cookie is placed on your device.
For further information about how to do so, please refer to
If you want to remove previously stored Cookies, you can manually delete the Cookies at any time. However, this will not prevent websites from placing further Cookies on your device unless and until you adjust your Internet browser setting as described above.

When visiting our website

A. Being responsible and compliant to relevant legislation is top priority for us. Although we do not sell our wines via our website, our content is alcohol related. That is why, a Notification to verify the user’s age is the first thing you encounter when visiting
If the user selects the over-18 option, a cookie is stored in his browser so that this notification does not show up in future visits. It contains no personal information and is stored for 30 days unless the user clears his/her Cookies.

B. A Cookie Policy Notification shows up as well. It offers to the user the possibility to read through our Policy and validate his/her consent.
If the user accepts the terms, a Cookie is stored in the user’s browser. It contains no personal info, just the acceptance, and is stored for 60 days unless the user clears his/her cookies.
Please note that if you use your browser settings to block all Cookies (including Strictly Necessary Cookies) you may not be able to access or use all or parts or functionalities of our website.

C. Using our “Forms
On our website, you can find a “contact form” and a “newsletter sign-in” form.

In the case of our “contact form”, the information filled is sent to the admin’s email, whose mission is to read your request and reply accordingly. We do store an encrypted log on our database that contains the date, action (e.g. submit form) and an encrypted email that cannot be read. These logs can only be accessed directly from the database and not the CMS. It is just a GDPR security measure.

The “contact form” can be connected to our “newsletter” only if the user chooses to do so by checking on the relevant box.

When signed in to receiving our “newsletter”, again no data is stored in our database. The information is sent to Mailchimp via an API (application call) and the emails are automatically stored in a list inside Mailchimp, only upon the user’s acceptance and email verification (Mailchimp’s double opt-in). Upon your sign-in to our “newsletter”, you consent on processing the data freely provided (by filling in the info requested for the specific service) for our marketing purposes. Please keep in mind that Mailchimp offers the possibility to unsubscribe at any time one wishes to do so.

D. Embedded content from other websites
Our website may include content from other websites (embedded content as videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

With whom do we share your data?

  • Google (analytics)

Everyone involved processes data for us based on our instructions exclusively for the delivery of the services outlined above.

For how long your data is stored?

Your data are processed exclusively for the purposes described below and the relevant time required to deliver a specific service. In the case of our “newsletter”, the choice to unsubscribe is always available on the Mailchimp platform. When unsubscribing, the platform deletes automatically all data.

We do take any and all available technical and organizational measures for protecting your data from loss, unauthorized access and unauthorized transmission. In addition to this, everyone responsible to process data on our behalf (e.g. Navitas administrator) shall be obligated to keep data secrecy.
