Staying both inspired and grounded is what we want. With Navitas and through our wines we want to articulate the way we understand situations, grow relationships, and cherish the past, the present and the possible.
“Born and raised in Thessaloniki with both sides of my family in the wine business since forever, one could say that it was meant to be. Still, I started out with studies in psychology that led to my two master’s degrees. Upon my return from London, I realized I needed to do more. An MA in Wine Business at the University of Adelaide was the next step. Navitas is my fortuity to unfold the way I both envision and understand my place in wine. I am extremely lucky to share this passion journey with a fantastic team”.
“Ι was raised in Thessaloniki with origins from Naoussa and Drama. I found myself in the vineyard from a young age thanks to my grandfather who was growing vines and making his own wine. It was with him I did my very first pruning. So, it was no coincidence I moved to Drama to study enology. Navitas came in my life after 4 harvests. Working for a winery since day one is an unbelievable opportunity as you are involved in its shaping. Having Kyriakos Kynigopoulos -and his collaborator Grigoris Skopelitis- on our side as consultants, is a double bonus.”
Our 2021 Terre De Zeus Assyrtiko is out. 3,800 bottles of what creative patience can do.
One year today since we launched our first wines in the market. So, kind of a Navitas anniversary! Thank you all!
Still remember the long hours of brainstorming. This is it, our "Terre De Zeus" trilogy for wines from indigenous grapes.
A poppy gazing at the first green sprouts atop the vine trunks. Beautiful springtime!
The glorious moment of budburst, the delicate beginning of the vine's life cycle.
Spring colors. These little flowers have a big job to do supporting the soil and boosting biodiversity.
Doing things we love doing. With cloudy Mount Olympus in the background.
We made it through our first Oenorama. 3 full days at the major Greek wine fair.
No matter the slippery grey skies, nature keeps reminding us that there is so much beauty around.
It may take long -over a month now- but winter pruning is all about a delicate, technical, mindful work.
