STORIES

Staying both inspired and grounded is what we want. With Navitas and through our wines we want to articulate the way we understand situations, grow relationships, and cherish the past, the present and the possible.
“Navitas has been my natural decision.
A path of discovery and growth”.

“Born and raised in Thessaloniki with both sides of my family in the wine business since forever, one could say that it was meant to be. Still, I started out with studies in psychology that led to my two master’s degrees. Upon my return from London, I realized I needed to do more. An MA in Wine Business at the University of Adelaide was the next step. Navitas is my fortuity to unfold the way I both envision and understand my place in wine. I am extremely lucky to share this passion journey with a fantastic team”.

GRIGORIS SOTIRIADIS
Oenologist
“Ι was raised in Thessaloniki with origins from Naoussa and Drama. I found myself in the vineyard from a young age thanks to my grandfather who was growing vines and making his own wine. It was with him I did my very first pruning. So, it was no coincidence I moved to Drama to study enology. Navitas came in my life after 4 harvests. Working for a winery since day one is an unbelievable opportunity as you are involved in its shaping. Having Kyriakos Kynigopoulos -and his collaborator Grigoris Skopelitis- on our side as consultants, is a double bonus.”
